ABOUT ME
Growing up in the 90s, I was captivated by the digital revolution. My career kicked off in 1999 with a dynamic HTML/Flash website that opened my eyes to technology's creative potential.
From there the path ran through telecom build-outs, enterprise support, five years keeping Swiss precision CNC machines alive for U.S. PCB manufacturers, and SIEM engineering at LogRhythm — deep infrastructure and security experience most developers never get.
Today I build AI-native products end to end: multi-stage LLM workflows, real-time platforms, native apps. I use AI as a force multiplier while keeping engineering judgment human.

The hacker kid
The 90s made me. Bulletin boards, IRC, machines torn apart on the bedroom floor. In 1999 I shipped my first website — dynamic HTML and Flash — and realized software was the biggest creative playground on earth.
The hands-on decade
Before I wrote software for a living, I lived in the physical stack: pulling voice and data lines in Minnesota, building wireless networks in Iowa while earning a networking degree, running enterprise desktop support — and then five years as the sole U.S. technical owner for Posalux, a Swiss manufacturer of precision CNC drilling machines used to fabricate printed circuit boards. When your machine is a quarter-million-dollar Swiss instrument and the customer's production line is down, you learn what real troubleshooting means.
The security years
At LogRhythm I deployed and customized enterprise SIEM platforms, then owned critical incident management as a Technical Account Manager for strategic clients — logging systems, IDS/IPS, firewalls, the whole enterprise stack. Security stopped being a hobby from the hack-the-planet days and became a discipline.
The builder era
Since 2015 I've shipped full-stack products for clients and for myself — and since 2024, as a founder: Zyppi AI turns photos into marketplace listings with a multi-stage LLM pipeline; UplinkMesh is a native Swift macOS app shipped through the App Store; StayIn Poker runs live heads-up poker over peer-to-peer video with on-device face detection. I build with AI as a force multiplier and treat every product as proof of what one engineer can ship end to end.
